Super Othello is a HyperCard implementation of Othello or Reversi. This version of Super Othello supports player vs player games, Mac vs player and Mac vs Mac games. The artificial intelligence in Super Othello supports 7 different levels of difficulty. New in this version is improved super intelligence and very slightly improved normal intelligence (probably not noticeable), as well as saving and logging games and the Othello menu. You now also have the ability to choose which color you want, black or white, in addition to the ability to use two-pass chip checking.
One of the major improvements to the super intelligence level is that it won’t give away corners as easily as before. It will also not make dumb moves that lets you take a corner (It’ll atleast try not to...).
Super Othello now supports flip animation with user-definable sprite delay, as well as three different levels of super intelligence.

Super Othello is shareware (note: If you pay for Super Othello Board Maker, you have paid for Super Othello and vice versa). Note about size
This stack will compact itself on startup, close, every time a game ends (and a winner is found) and when you manually reset the board.
Version history & future versions
I will continue to improve super intelligence, and I am now looking at ways to make the computer think forward. So now we’ll just have to see if it works out...
2.0 - Flip animation and skipping moves now works properly, and the new super intelligence level is completed. The Settings card also had a little interface change.
2.0b1 - Skipping moves gives the other player an extra move (not fully implemented). Flip animation half-way completed and new super intelligence level added. Not released publicly.

1.6 - You can now use Two-pass Chip Checking, and a bug in the reviewing part of logged games has been fixed. The Super Intelligence has once more been improved. Percentages are now in whole numbers, not 34.47% (for instance). Added the Super Othello Docs file (which is not read-only, so you can change font and text size). Changed the font and text size in this field. A registration form has been included. Not released.
1.5 - Improved Super Intelligence, added the Othello menu and option to save and log games. You can choose which color you want to play. Not released publicly.
The artificial "intelligence" provided with Super Othello isn’t very clever (but getting better!). If you have any suggestions to improve it, please let me know.
